Welcome to Illawarra Care Connect — a community-built directory that connects families, carers and young people with the disability and family support they need across Wollongong, Shellharbour, Kiama and surrounds.

We started this project after hearing the same story over and over: "I know there's help out there, I just don't know where to start." Navigating the NDIS, school holiday programs, therapists and social groups shouldn't feel like a second job.

On Care Connect you'll find approved local providers, an events calendar full of inclusive activities, plain-language guides, and a way to message providers directly without endless phone tag.

We're a small team and we're listening. If something's missing, if a listing is out of date, or if you've got a story you'd like to share with the community — get in touch through our contact page. This platform belongs to the Illawarra, and it gets better the more you shape it.
